Getting to South Lake Tahoe, CA

From Reno, NV

RNO is the best way to get to Tahoe by air. Well second best, first is a lake jump with Skydive Tahoe.

South Tahoe Express

Rob took this bus last year and had no complaints. It heads out from the Reno-Tahoe Airport every hour on the hour from 10:00 AM on.

$46.50* per person round trip

From Sacramento

Amtrak

From Sacramento you’ll have to either take the Amtrak bus which departs @ 10:05 AM for $34, or bum a ride with Sonny. Personally, I’d rather tide with Sonny.

Getting around South Lake Tahoe

For the most part you can walk everywhere you’ll need to go for Snowcial. It can be a pain to do that in ski boots though. The BlueGO buses run all over the South Tahoe area for $2 / ride or $18 for 10 rides. So don’t rent a car.

Bum a ride from a Snowcialite

Lots of us are coming up from Reno Thursday and Friday. Definitely try to catch a ride if you can. It’s more fun that way. Best way to coordinate that is to post a comment here, use the or look for a ride on the .
