Some of you already were aware of, and probably already purchased tickets to, MC Hammer’s concert in South Lake Tahoe which is conveniently timed for Snowcial 2010 on January 9th.
Well, we’ve made some calls, and got a hold of the MC himself, and he’s down with Snowcial! In addition to being a great entertainer, they guy knows online media and communities.
After 15 years in film, entertainment music and production, MC Hammer has spent the last ten years researching broadband, wireless, and mobile technology and its applications to rich media, premium content and Social Communities. Hammer brings both traditional and Social Media expertise into the public forum. Hammer was the Key Note Speaker for the Intel CEO conference in 2008 (600 CEO’s) and spoke on Social Media at Harvard (HBS) in 2009 and was a speaker at Stanfords MIT/VLab in 2009. Hammer is a co founder of Social Media destination Dancejam and Executive Producer and creator of “HammerTime” a new Real Life Family show on the A&E networks.
So we’ll have MC Hammer as our Keynote Speaker for Snowcial 2010.
How cool is that?

Tahoe Snowcial is January 7th through 10th, 2010 with a public conference on Friday the 8th.
