We’re really excited to announce, that over the last couple of weeks we’ve been working with our friends at the Reno Gazette-Journal to put together programming for the morning of the Snowcial Conference (Friday January 7th, 2011). Snowcial Blog U will focus on how Snow Sports and Travel bloggers, and any blogger for that matter, can grow their audience and maximize their voice.

Blog U will feature some great speakers from snow sports, blogging and journalism. Keynote for the event will be given by snowboarder . Shannon has worked in the ski industry for most of the past decade, first as a snowboard instructor, then as a web content specialist for resorts. Johnson is currently editor of shayboarder.com, a blog focused on “The World of Snowboarding Through Fembot Eyes.” She is that rare female voice in a male-dominated industry. Johnson is also copywriter for Mammoth Mountain Ski Area.
