Casey Hakansson and Luke Jacobson of Moment Skis have been a part of the Snowcial family since the event began three years ago. And each of those three years Moment doubled their sales worldwide. In fact, you can’t swing a dead cat at any Tahoe resort without hitting a colorful dude snapped into their fat distinctive boards.
They’ll be back this year, showing what they’ve been up to and ripping it up with us at Heavenly Mountain Resort. The Reno Gazette Journal just published an article on their success. Check it out.
- Moment Skis has doubled its sales volume in each of the last four years since it went commercial.
- Last year, the company’s revenue was about $450,000; this year it hopes to surpass $1 million.
- From a Sparks warehouse, it distributes product internationally — in Europe, Asia and Australia — and across most of the United States.
- The company’s skis shined in the global spotlight during the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, when they were worn by U.S. Ski Team athletes Shannon Bahrke, a bronze medal winner in moguls, and Heather McPhie.
Can’t wait to shred with these guys again!
